hayden helping with the cat food.... gone wrong!!!

so let me give you the backstory.... hayden likes to help do stuff, we try and give her stuff to help with like doing laundry or whatever.

the cat food container that we keep by the cat bowl was empty and she likes to carry it out to the large cat food container outside and then we fill it up and give her the container with the lid on for her to bring back to the bathroom where the cat food bowl is.

so hayden accidentally dropped it and you would think that i freaked out on her, but i swear i didn't!!! she was totally upset and I tried to reassure her that it was fine and we would clean it up. as i grabbed the video camera sitting on the kitchen counter!!!

i totally didn't expect what happened next. (in the interest of not torturing my daughter the video cuts off much sooner than i would have liked but her and i were home alone and someone had to clean her up... besides it's probably better that she doesn't have video of me laughing as i cleaned her up.)






hayden redeems herself... this is from wednesday january 27th. it was time to fill the cat food container so i had hayden bring out the container and we filled it up. i made sure to put the lid on all the way and gave her the container, this is when i realized that she carries the container by the lid.... oops, maybe it did fall because i filled it a little too much the other day and there wasn't a good enough seal.

you'll notice she goes all the way around the kitchen table instead of going by the dog's water bowl like she usually does.... and yesterday she was getting upset and was by the dog bowls and was pointing at them like they were naughty.... toooooo funny!!!
